Thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely cottage in Cressbrook, we enjoyed the week enormously and was quite lucky with the weather.
The walk from  Litton Mill to Cressbrook Mill from the cottage was stunning. By the end of the week even the walk up the hill to the cottage seemed easy, so we must have been fitter too.
Hope to stay again in the spring, jobs and finance permitting.

I found the cottage to be very well presented and with all possible conveniences. It is very comfortable and even the internet connection worked!! The position is ideal for a quiet week in the Peak District so long as you have a car and don't mind driving on narrow roads. I loved the view from the front window and for those not into hill walking there are some great Stately Homes about. Don't miss Haddon Hall.

We had a fantastic experience in the Peak District and the cottage made the time even more special. The view from the patio is incomparable and the conservatory was great for evening meals out of the wind. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and all the appliances worked perfectly. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who would like to experience the Peak District and for those who are looking for a comfortable, relaxing time.

'...Been meaning to email all week but kept forgetting.  Just wanted to say thankyou very much for our stay in your lovely cottage.   Great cottage, very comfortable, loved all the nice new modern fittings, etc.  We had a couple of chilly nights so lit the fire - it was really cosy.  Loved the view from the cottage over to Monsal Head and vice versa!..'

'...Just a quick note to say thanks for the use of the cottage during the week! I managed to have a very relaxing time (despite the scorching weather).  I especially appreciated the shower (might have to invest)! Thanks again...'

'...Thank you so much for a wonderful week!, the cottage is lovely and the location beautiful, My Dad was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been understandably down, he came along and really enjoyed himself, it was nice to see him forget about it for a while. I really liked the way you have decorated it, it is a great base to go out from and so full of history, I can see why you find it hard to leave!
Thanks again,..'

'...Just to say thanks for a lovely stay. You should really make more of your WiFi connection. We almost didn’t take our computer but were so glad we did. A really thoughtfully equipped and comfortable cottage...'

We spent a week at Monsal View in extremely cold weather, but found the equuipment, the beds and above all the heating excellent. We looked forward to lighting a coal/log fire each evening. The appliances are all new and varied, and the description in the brochure was accurate. Firts rate view and first rate walking at the door. The property was spotless on our arrival. Thoroughly recommend the Red Lion pub in nearby Litton. Only difficulty was the parking, which is in the village car park below the property.

We thought the cottage was lovely, weather was bitter but soon got fire going then we were very cosy,The cottage had everything we needed and is in a lovely position, We went to the village club and found the locals very friendly. The best thing for me are the views.
